Work with us

Team Fostering recruits staff that are committed to making a positive difference to children and young people in our care. The entire focus of the agency is on support, not just for children and carers but also for staff.

In March 2016, an Ofsted report highlighted that ‘there are excellent arrangements for the support, supervision and training of staff who work at Team Fostering.’

Salary

Annual Leave

We offer all staff 30 days annual leave each year, plus 8 Bank Holidays (pro-rata if part-time).

Pension

We have a Contributory Pension Scheme in place for all eligible employees.

Death in Service

In the event of an employees’ death, Team Fostering will pay the nominated beneficiary a sum equivalent to twice the deceased employees’ annual salary. This benefit is only available to staff under the age of 65.

Sickness Benefit

Team Fostering offers a generous company sick pay scheme.

Loyalty Bonus Scheme

Team Fostering recognises long term service through a bonus scheme, bonus payments are made to staff for every 5 years of service.

Eye Care

Team Fostering will fund the cost of an eye test for those members of staff who use display screen equipment, as well as a contribution of £50 towards glasses.

Childcare Vouchers

We offer a childcare voucher scheme operated through Busy Bees (where applicable).

We are immensely proud of our recognition as an Investors in People Employer which we have held since 2006.     We have a strong commitment to learning and development.   We continue to utilise the IIP assessment process to review our strengths with the Agency as well as considering any further ideas for continuous improvement.

Team Fostering is keen to develop our staff to a high standard, ensuring that they have access to the knowledge and information they need to do their job well.  Many of our employees have been with us for many years. As we have grown as a company we have encouraged existing employee’s development to enable them to fill more senior positions.  We have a strong learning culture of:

  • Staff accessing a wide range of internal and external training courses, to promote learning and development, including professional qualifications.
  • A comprehensive induction programme for new employees and staff changing job roles
  • Learning pathways for all job roles
  • Internal promotional opportunities
  • Annual appraisals and monthly supervision reviews to assist and enable personal development, and to form individual development plans.
  • Team building events and annual planning days.
