Team Fostering is an independent not for profit fostering agency, established in 2001 to provide safe, high quality, family based care for children who are looked after by the Local Authority.
We are a social enterprise, which means we have a social purpose and social objectives, and our ethos is to promote diversity and quality of care. Our goal is to provide the best possible support to help vulnerable children and young people living away from their families, to achieve good outcomes and have the best possible start in life.
We have a friendly, experienced and understanding team who take pride in working hard to contribute to the agency, offering fantastic support for our carers alongside thorough guidance for potential foster carers, children, young people and staff. The foster carers that we work with are passionate and determined, and their hard work is shown in the many achievements of children and young people in their care. The agency truly operates as a team in all senses of the word, with all individuals sharing the belief that children should be given the best start in life. We are always looking for new carers to join us, and take pride in welcoming those of all backgrounds to Team Fostering. We recruit, train, assess and support foster carers welcoming children into their lives, and work alongside them to promote a strong sense of family life and the very best environment for children in care. We aim to provide safe, healthy and supported placements for individuals aged 0 – 18 in the North East, Yorkshire and East Midlands, working from offices in North Shields, Middlesbrough, Sheffield and Nottingham.
