War and conflict is an ongoing presence in the news headlines at present, and you can't help but be moved by the plight of young people in countries affected by this unrest. But what does fostering children who are seeking asylum in the United Kingdom involve day to day? What kind of things will you be expected to consider when fostering a young person from overseas?
We've programmed a useful two hour online event to provide information on fostering unaccompanied children seeking asylum in the UK. We'll have expert insight from the support organisation Migration Yorkshire, as well as specialist input from staff and current Foster Carers with Team Fostering who have experience in fostering children new to this country.
