Hours: 28 hours per week (FTE 35 hours) Monday - Thursday 9.30am – 3.30pm, Friday 9.30am – 4.30pm


Team Fostering is an ethical not for profit fostering agency with a strong reputation and track record for providing high quality, value for money fostering placements for looked after children. We are looking for an experienced Administrator to join our successful fostering service to provide a first class fostering service for children through timely and efficient delivery of a first-class administrative support service to the agency and the services it operates. You will be dealing with highly confidential information, therefore an ability to maintain confidentiality at all times is essential. Experience of working within a social care setting would be an advantage.

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload. They will be able to work unsupervised using own initiative within tight deadlines. They should also have experience of dealing with the general public, internal & external customers and a demonstrable track record of providing administrative support. They will also be required to create and maintain carer and children electronic files on our CHARMS database, monitoring and uploading statutory documentation as appropriate.

As the role is based in both our Sheffield office and East Midlands office there will be a requirement for the postholder to be able to meet the office location requirements of the job.
