Education and Support Service Assistant (sessional)

Closing date: Friday 4th October 2019

We are committed to providing support for young people as they prepare to leave care and embark on independence.  Following a two-year pilot that was funded by the Helen Middleton Trust, we have successfully developed a package of support to teach and support young people with skills for independence.  This work is delivered through both one to one and group support in the form of Life Skills and other independence activities.

We have managed to secure funding to support with the continuation of this project.  This funding is time limited and to maximise the use of this money we are recruiting sessional staff to complete planned pieces of work to contribute towards our leaving care package of support.  The majority of the hours will be spent delivering or assisting with the delivery of leaving care activities.  There may be some hours available to assist with the planning and evaluation of these activities.
