As well as a comprehensive 24/7 support package which is detailed in the ‘Services Provided’ section of our website we also pay competitive rates to our Foster Carers which we review regularly to ensure that we are ahead in the market. Other benefits include a car mileage allowance, three weeks paid short break care, and life insurance cover for all our Foster Carers.We pay any existing Foster carer who recommends our Agency to someone interested in fostering, the sum of £500 after they are approved as Foster Carers for Team Fostering and have had their first placement. After five years service as an approved foster carer we pay a £250.00 loyalty bonus to say ‘Thank you’.
This is Douglas, our Principal Social Worker, who has worked for Team Fostering since it was established in 2001. Douglas will probably talk to you on the phone and visit you if you make an enquiry. He has a wealth of knowledge and can answer any question you can think of about fostering and much more besides!
