What makes a good Team Foster Carer

• First time I believed I belonged (They believe I can do anything now so do I)
• I am treated the same as their children
• They put there foster child first and as my mum would do they will take my bullet
• They say no but the most important thing is they explain why
• The day the child walks into the house it is important that it gets that feeling the same as I that they’ll be there forever
• They go to my meetings and fight my corner
• They tell me it’s not my fault
• I can tell them anything and they will help
• They take you to extraordinary things like on planes and make you feel special
• Nine carers and my 11th Birthday before I got my first birthday cake.
