Team Fostering is an independent ‘Not for Profit’ Fostering Agency. We aim to provide a value for money service to Local Authorities and to those children and young people who are placed in our care. We are not motivated by making a ‘profit’ but by providing a comprehensive service, and by maximising children and young peoples’ potential and their well-being whilst they are placed with us. We have many examples of successful outcomes for our children which makes our work all worthwhile.
Team Fostering has no shareholders and no profits are distributed. Instead, any surplus is re-invested back into the business to provide extra support for our children and young people, provide our Foster Carers with extra services and competitive rates of pay, and provide the Local Authorities with whom we work with value for money services. We aim to maintain and support placements, and to develop our services. Being able to provide support to our Foster Carers ultimately aids the stability of placements and outcomes for the children and young people we look after.
We have a team of dedicated professionals with substantial experience in specialist foster care. Our team makes every effort to ensure that each child is placed with professional carers who can meet that childs needs. All children are welcomed into a positive and caring environment, and valued as individuals.
We maintain excellent reputations with Local Authorities and colleagues in other professions and this has enabled us to grow steadily over the last ten years without compromising on the quality service we provide to being one of the main fostering providers in the region.
